FxPro launches CFD trading for cryptocurrency
The brokerage firm FxPro announced that it has launched cryptocurrency CFD trading on FxPro Edge CFD, FxPro MT4 and FxPro MT5 accounts, which will be available starting Saturday, July 31.
Cryptocurrency CFD trading will be available 24/7 to meet the increasing demand of its clients. In addition, the company highlighted a significant increase in interest in crypto products in general.
In its statement, FXPro stated:
“FxPro recently expanded its list of Cryptocurrency CFD products in order to keep pace with customer demand. As a leading global broker, we understand the importance of trading and managing these assets during weekend hours, when there are ongoing and often sharp price dynamics. Therefore, in an effort to bypass and improve the current cryptocurrency trading conditions, we are pleased to announce that we are now offering weekend trading on these CFD instruments.”
Earlier in July, FxPro UK (UK) announced its financial figures for the year 2020. The broker saw strong growth in net profit and revenue. Net profit was £466.597 for the year ended December 31, 2020, compared to a net loss of £221,724 in 2019. However, CFDs on cryptocurrency are not available to retail clients of FxPro UK Ltd (UK)
The cryptocurrency market witnessed a jump of more than 100% in the total market capitalization in the first half of 2021 due to the increased interest of retail traders. Several financial brokers have started offering convenient crypto trading conditions to meet the increasing demand.
